k and i took a long sunday walk. in the judkins park neighborhood we explored the shops located in the new hiawatha artist lofts building (hey artist friends, check out the deals and the wait list on this place). there we discovered a glorious new coffee shop, called cafe weekend . the charm of the place is in the playful schoolroom theme and simple pleasures design aesthetic. the delightful surprise of cafe weekend is in the delicious flavors of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and sea salt.i think you should walk there yourself - or ride your bicycle - and let yourself be rapt for a moment in this friendly neighborhood wonder of a cafe.

These photos are delightful. I would love to go to that cafe. Those alphabet cards would look awesome in a child's room.
