obersvation #1: the dutch really love to watch planes land. all along the runway there were benches with people sitting on them and i saw at least three folks taking photographs of the airfield / our plane as it landed.
observation #2:
marcel van woerkom, is a consumate host and has a lovely home. i sunk right into my bed (sans black fur) for an afternoon nap.
observation #3: this city is beautiful.
observation #5: this kitten charmed me. as i ate my falafel she climbed up on the handrails of the bicycles to the right of this shot. she reminded me of a kitten named biscotina that i befriended on my first trip abroad in san marzano olivetto italy.
