we hosted a dinner on sunday night. our apartment was transformed into a restaurant of sorts, a restaurant called les classy bucket. the food was primarily collected from jenn's garden. we supplemented a few items with a visit to the
capitol hill farmer's market. jenn was our fearless leader. under her direction, we labored for eight hours, and then a meal was born.
our chef's vision, gorgeous and delicious:
green salad

two kinds of fresh baked breads
handmade ravioli stuffed with beats and potatoes
ravioli - again with the handmade - stuffed with chard and ricotta in a vegetable broth, freckled with kernels of corn
wine and peach/raspberry/blueberry pie with whipped cream on top
